Kansas Quail and Parker in a Box

Parker in a box

Parker ghe 28ga with a ball grip 00 frame in 99% original condition -- this gun came to us in its original shipping crate with hang tags, packing paper and invoice -- this one I miss -- the quail dont !

the gun is in its original remington/parker crate ca. 1937

The golf gift
How about a nearly new dhe 00 frame 28ga built as a golf gift ca. 1916 this gun was covered in cosmolene/grease -- was given to the winner of the 1916 us amateur golf tournament and immediately traded for a 28ga A1 special, upon having second thoughts the owner bought the gun back from Parker and kept both where they remained until we bought this one last year ! this gun has the best engraving of any dhe I have ever seen.  Semi bas relief with dog scenes in all 3 panels -- all the history can be traced to the letter including the A1 special trade and repurchase.

I have never seen a better dhe- add to the fact that this gun is a 00 frame 28ga with all of its factory finishes and the best wood I have ever seen on a "D" with high dimensions and factory skeletal butt-sorry for the lousy photos hopefully they have gotten better! Under that cosmolene was the best case hardening I have ever seen on a parker
!Perfect!

Granny's grade 2 20

This gun will break the heart of any american double gun fan -- an all original grade 2 20ga L.C. smith
with 30" barrels full/full, english grip with tiny diminsions in the wrist and a factory hunter 1 trigger - The gun was owned by the grandmother of a virginia family and lovingly cared for for its entire existance -- I bought the gun and vowed to myself to never sell it but it now resides in a dusty little SW town with an annoying quail problem -- I defy annyone to produce a better gun and can name  1 Smith collector that wishes it was he -- I think he will agree-
the gun retains almost all its original color -- photos just dont do justice!

No wonder my grandfather shot smiths
this 1st year 20 is as good as it gets

This gun weighed a mere 5lbs 15oz
it handled better than most english best!

CHE 16GA 0 FRAME STRAIGHT GRIP
WHAT MADE THIS GUN UNIQUE WAS IT WAS BUILT WITHOUT A SAFETY HAD A HIGH FLAT RIB
30" BARRELS FULL/FULL AND IS ON A 20GA FRAME !
MOST OF ITS COLOR REMAINS -- WE RECENTLY SOLD THE MATE TO THIS GUN IN 12GA.
BOTH GUNS ORIGINALLY OWNED BY A FAMOUS PIGEON SHOOTER
